Program Structure

Objective

The objectives of the programme are to:

  • The course aims to improve students' existing English language skills to enable them to progress to the first year of studies either in Hotel Management or in Culinary Arts.
  • This lasts for six months and includes intensive English language modules and introduces students to the full programmes of study.
  • This Program is a dynamic course involving active learning that promotes English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. 
  • Key academic skills such as brainstorming (generating ideas), outlining, drafting and structuring will also be internalised by students through the activities undertaken throughout the 10 weeks.

Duration

Duration: 15-20 hours

Tutor contact per week from Monday to Friday.

Small classes ensure that attention is given to each individual’s unique ability in each of the four key language areas.
