Program Structure

Objective

The objectives of the programme are to:

  • Acquiring and developing knowledge of the hotel and catering industry and its relevance to their specific roles.
  • Understanding different types of service techniques.
  • Understanding different types of service techniques.
  • Preparing mise-en-place for services efficiently.
  • Understanding the basics of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including history, composition, and service methods.
  • Understanding the proper care and usage of restaurant equipment.
  • Knowing the appropriate table layout for restaurant settings.
  • Practising etiquettes and manners when interacting with guests, management, and colleagues.

Duration

Duration: 6 months in-school training

Internship: 240 hours at work place
