The Diploma in Professional Culinary Arts is a diploma course for any individual interested to learn cooking for a career or create and manage a food business.

This programme is aimed to educate students/ professionals in basic and intermediate culinary skills with basic eligibility of 12th standard and no age bar. This program focuses on the study of cooking skills associated with the preparation and service of traditional Indian, international and modern cuisine with a focus on entrepreneurial skills.

Program Structure

Objective

The objectives of the programme are to:

  • To train the students in the art and craft of professional cooking skills.
  • Will train to learn basic and advanced culinary skills and secure employment at higher level positions in hotels, specialty restaurants, flight kitchens, catering companies, canteen outlets.

Duration

Duration: 6 months

Internship: 240 hours at work place

Intake

20 per batch

Eligibility Criteria

  • 12th pass or equivalent qualification.
  • Age no limit
